Yvette Gertrude Deschamps

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, our grandmother, Yvette Deschamps, who passed away Saturday December 2nd, 2023 surrounded by family.

Yvette Gertrude Deschamps of Walford Ontario, passed away peacefully at Golden Birches Long Term Care, Blind River at the age of 98. Pre-deceased by her husband Donat Deschamps, son Mike Deschamps & Daughter Rachael Deschamps. Survived by her children; Maurice (Judy) of London, Marcel (Sue) of White River, Aurel (Nicky) of Port Colborne, Gabriel (Rose) of Callander, Noel (Gail) of Port Colborne, Muriel (Dennis) of Brantford, Giselle of Massey, Danny (Jane) of Welland, Isabelle of Massey, Noella (Robert) of Massey, Norm (Dawn) of Port Colborne, Nick (Linda) of Trenton, Diane (Wayne) of Walford, Lauriane (Don) of Spanish. Greatly missed by her 43 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

She was a strong lady, her whole like was devoted to being a wife and mother.

Visitation for family members will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Spanish from 10 am- 11 am, on Friday December 8th, 2023, friends welcome at 11 am. Service to be held at 1:30 pm, followed by interment at 2:15 pm at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Spanish.
