WARDELL VINCENT (WARD) WALTERS
July 19, 1933 (Toronto) – May 12, 2021 (Elliot Lake)
Following a lengthy illness, Ward was called by the Lord when it was time to move on. Ward passed on May 12, 2021 with his loving wife Nina by his side at St. Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake. Much heartfelt thanks goes out to all the staff who cared for Ward during this time.
A great lover of the outdoors, forest, wildlife and all animals, home life, a fearless entrepreneur, Ward Walters left this life as he lived it, with determination and dignity.
Our love and prayers are with Ward on his final journey. He will be dearly missed.
Ward was born to Rose (Mastrangelo) and Charles Walters – He has followed his parents, two brothers Wilfred and Jack Walters, into eternity.
He is survived by his lovely wife Nina, children Michael, Sharon, Sandra, Monica, Daniel and their life partners as well as eight grandchildren, one great-grand child, cousins, nieces, nephews, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and many friends.
He will also be greatly missed by his animal friends – Rosie, Chippy, Red, Freddy and Edna.
As per Ward’s wishes, there will be no funeral at this time. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
