Sheila Chalmers Obituary

Sheila Lillian Mary Chalmers (Nee Murphy), passed away peacefully On November 5th, 2023 at the age of 99, at St. Joseph’s General Hospital, Elliot Lake. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James Chalmers, her son Ronnie of Ottawa, Ontario, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her children; Claire, David and Lynnda, Sisters; Cora, Rita, Bev and Barbara and Brother; Patrick. She will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbors.

Sheila lived in Elliot Lake since 1960 and was a long time member of the Legion for 50 years.

Thank you to Dr. Wannan, Nurse Earl Jones and all the hospital nurses/staff.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services, Elliot Lake.
