Obituary
Rupert passed away suddenly on July 14, 2023 at the age of 78 at St. Josephs General Hospital in Elliot lake. He was born March 4, 1945, in Sackville New Brunswick to Earl and Janie Wood. He spent many years as a truck driver and wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Rupert is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Glenna Wood. Beloved father of (late Susan), Dwayne, Red (Tammy) Gen, Kassandra and Darren. Dear grandfather to Jaimie (Nancy) Devin, David (Morgan) Kale, Tristin, Justin (Bria), Johnny (Megan). Brother to the late Betty and late Louis, late Delores, late Kathleen, Helen and late Paul, late Joyce and Russell, Sandra and late Klaus, late Donald and Ida, late Richard, Harry and Sharron, Carol Ann and Arnold, John and Lois, Debbie and Royden, Robert and Ricky. Special great grandpa to 22 wonderful great grandchildren and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date
