Obituary
Robert Louis Paquette, 62, of Elliot Lake, Ontario, passed away on June 1st, 2023 after several years of battling throat cancer.
Long time resident of Elliot Lake, originally from Sudbury, where he was born and raised.
Loving father of Jamie, of Sudbury. Son of the late Fabiola and Ubald Paquette. Dear brother of Raymond (Jacqueline) of Red Deer, Alberta, Denis (Laurie) of Elliot Lake, Ontario and the late Gilles (2004). He will also be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews and his many friends.
Bob had a generous heart and caring soul, who was always quick to help others. He enjoyed cooking and creating delicious recipes. He enjoyed several summer road trip adventures with his oldest brother Ray, touring Ontario and Quebec. He spent many a day pickerel fishing and down rigging with his brother Denis. He adored the outdoors.
At Robert’s request there will be no visitation or service. A gathering of family at the gravesite with prayers will be done at a later date.
Internment of ashes in the Paquette family plot at Lasalle Cemetery in Sudbury.
