The guys down at coffee and the Legion pool hall, were an important stay in his life as well, certainly his wit will be missed at these events. Passionate about many of life’s pleasures he was an avid gardener, kept his gardens and lawns pristine, as well as growing tomatoes annually. His woodworking skills kept him occupied, and provided great pieces throughout the family, and the community. He was an avid fisherman and had many secret holes throughout the Elliot Lake area. Family was important to him and he and Frances were known to hold many family occasions, their famous fish fries, did attract family from all over the province of Ontario. We would like to thank Dr Stirrett, Dr Nelson, nurses Barry and Jeff, and all the nursing staff for the exceptional care provided. As per Bob’s wishes cremation has taken place, there will be a Celebration of Life on the 14 June, 2025 at the Elliot Lake Legion, 10 Alberta Rd, Elliot Lake, ON P5A 1Z6, from 10 AM until 2 PM, there will be a luncheon available. Bob wanted a simple celebration, for family and friends to gather, share, and socialize. The family will be heading to the cemetery for the interment at 1 PM, we ask that this be a family only event. In lieu of flowers, Bob has requested that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
