Robert Bedard

It is with great sadness that we announce that passing of Robert Louis Joseph Bedard – known to all as Bob, who passed away suddenly on July 23, 2022. To all who knew him he was easily recognized by his loud laugh and big smile. Bob lived and raised his family in Elliot Lake and was proud to be a part of the community. He was a miner who worked for more than 28 years at mastering his craft. He loved fishing and all outdoor sports. He was a wonderful husband and father and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his (wife) Ginette Bedard, Brigitte Marshall (daughter), Joe Bedard (son), Brian Marshall (son-in-law) Stephanie Budge (daughter-in-law). His grandchildren: Autumn Chisholm, Faith Bernard-Ottereyes, Isabelle Bedard, Kolton Budge, Kaeden Mills, Lachlan Mills. His siblings Yvon Bedard (Debbie Bedard), Gisele Plante (Yvon Plante), Diane Chalifoux (Rock Chalifoux), Sonia Plante (Roger Plante-predeceased), Corrine, as well many nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Life for Bob Bedard will be held at the Legion in Elliot Lake on Sunday, July 31, 2022 from 1 pm to 3 pm. Furthermore, in lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Diabetes Association.
