Raymond Morin Obituary

Morin, Raymond Francois January 11 1939 - January 24 2026 Beloved husband of Patricia for 35 years. Predeceased by his loving parents Antonio and Jeanine, brothers and sisters Jeanine (late Larry), Marcel Mariane. Survived by Rita (Charles), Richard (Leslie), Monique (Richard). A loving Dad to Guy (Chantal), Michel, Micheline, Lynn (Paul), Kari (Jerry), David (Barb), and many nieces and nephews, 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Raymond was born and raised in Chapleau, Raymond began his career with CPR in April 1955, dedicating nearly 40 years before retiring in 1994. That same year, Raymond and Patricia moved to Elliot Lake, where they built a life filled with friendship, generosity, and community. Raymond enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, and carpentry, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends. He had an easy way about him that drew people in—his stories from CPR and from life were a joy to listen to. Animals, especially dogs, were naturally drawn to him, a true testament to his gentle and kind spirit. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
