Paula R. Marentette

Passed away Sunday, January 26, 2025 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Elliot Lake, ON at the age of 71 after battling cancer for sometime.

Predeceased by her parents Edward and Rena (nee LaBute) Marentette. Cherished sister of Joyce Melbourne of Elliot Lake, ON, Guy Marentette of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, USA and Gail (Donald) Frangos of Silver Lake, OH. Loving aunt of Jennifer Frangos of Silver Lake, OH, Gregory Frangos of Lewis Center, OH, Joan (Michael) Rossman of Bath Twp., OH and predeceased by Brian Frangos.

Paula will be remembered for her kind and generous heart, always helping people less fortunate than she. Paula actively participated in the Elliot Lake Arts Club becoming well known at craft sales. She also enjoyed figure skating, classical music, travel and in later years quilting.

A Celebration of Paula’s life will be held in the spring and will be announced at a later date.
