Harford, Patricia It is with great sadness, that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Harford (Manley) at St. Joseph’s General Hospital on Wednesday August 27, 2025. Pat was the beloved wife of the late Charles Harford (2007), mother of the late Hazel and the late Hillary (Robert Lecuyer). Grandmother and great grandmother too many. Patricia was born in 1932 in Glamorganshire, South Wales. She and her husband Charles whom she married in 1950, immigrated to the USA early in their marriage and later settled in Elliot Lake, Ontario. Together, they made many friends over the years, playing bridge and getting involved in the horticultural society. They also enjoyed the many activities that the area provided and in particular golfing was their passion. Pat lived a life full of kindness and positivity, always seeing the good in others and finding joy in life’s simple pleasures. She was quick to offer a warm smile, a gentle hug or an encouraging word. She was funny, caring, compassionate, loyal and dependable. To put it simply, she was a beautiful soul! Patsy, Keith and Heidi thank you for your thoughtful support of Pat through the years. Your kindness was greatly appreciated. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the exceptional caregivers at Hillside Park Retirement who helped bring comfort and peace to Pat over the last year. As per her wishes, there will be no formal funeral services. Donations can be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services, Elliot Lake.
