Michael was born and raised in Chapleau, ON. Predeceased by his mother, Patricia, father, Melvin, brother Harry (Dianne) and brother Philip (Alma- deceased)
He leaves behind daughter Kari (Jerry), son David (Barb), one grandson, Cameron. Sister, Helen (Darryl), brother Paul (Denice) and many nieces and nephews.
He attended barber school in Toronto in the early 70's also practised his trade and opened a shop in Chapleau. He took his training as a locomotive engineer also in the 70's until his early retirement. That wasn't enough for him though, he owned and successfully operated his business "Richardson Glass and Mirror" in Chapleau as a Glazer Metal mechanic and installer until he relocated to Elliot Lake to enjoy his retirement.
He was a quiet man, who enjoyed his daily run for coffee at Timmy's or Gem Restaurant, and meeting new people. He was sure to entertain everyone with his jokes and stories.
He will be sadly missed.
