Maurice Paradis

With love and respect, we honour the memory of "Fish" Paradis, who passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake, Ontario on July 4, 2022. He is predeceased by his parents, Oscar Sr and Jeanette (nee Lemieux), his brother Oscar Jr and his beautiful niece Roberta. His is survived by his wife Mary Ellen (nee LeBlanc), his children, Barbara (LaBillois), Micheal, Laura (Hamilton) and his grandchildren, Chanelle (Hamilton), Tranae (Hamilton), Chelsea (LaBillois) and Cierra (LaBillois). He is also survived by his brothers Georges (friend Ann) and Wilfred, his sister in law Judy (Turner) as well as his niece Michelle (Head). Maurice spent his youth growing up in Coniston and majority of his employment years were in service to Rio Algom Mines Ltd in Elliot Lake. He enjoyed watching Hockey and Baseball and loved the outdoors lifestyle. Camping, boating and fishing among his favourites. He also loved his two best dogs, George and Buddy. Cremation Services have been entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services and a small gathering of family and close friends will follow shortly at Grace Christian Centre.
