Loretta Lee (Leithwood) Bauer

Passed away peacefully at the age of 68 on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 with her husband and niece by her side at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Elliot Lake, ON. Beloved wife of Gary. Loving mom of Cody. Cherished aunt of Sharron Leithwood who took excellent care of her aunt Loretta. Loretta leaves behind a large loving family and many friends that will miss her deeply. Her family would like to express a huge thank you to the staff and nurses at the hospital and from Bayshore, her family doctor and her doctors in Sudbury, ON. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at the Paroisse Ste. Bernadette Parish (45 Spruce Street, Elliott Lake, ON.) at 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Loretta’s Life will follow at the Moose Lodge (26 Oakland Blvd., Elliot Lake, ON.) If desired, donations in Loretta’s memory may be made to the Northeast Cancer Centre (41 Ramsey Lake Rd., Sudbury, ON P3E 5J1)
