Leroy Harper

It is with great sadness our family announces the passing of Leroy Harley Harper. Leroy passed peacefully on August 10th at St Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake. Leroy was born May 11 1934 to George and Edith Harper in Warwick Ont. Survived by siblings; Maxena, Fay, Fern, Reid, Raymond and former spouse Marilyn Harper. Predeceased by; Allen, Velma, Lee, Merle, Ralph, Murray, Lois and beloved friend Ilda Frayne. Leroy had many accomplishments in his life but his proudest one was becoming North Shores fire chief in 1989. He leaves behind his children; Ron, Wayne, Randy(Patricia) Brian(Jen) Wendy(Donny) Emmons, Peggy(Luc) Lavalee, Dennis Frayne, Danny Frayne and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Leroy was best known for his hard work ethic and his good spirited personality. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
