Kyle Maron

Maron, Kyle It is with a heavy heart I announce the sudden passing of Kyle Wilfred Maron, 52 yrs from natural causes at his home in Elliott Lake, ON. Kyle was born in Orillia, ON., on Oct 4th, 1972, and pronounced dead on May 19th, 2025. He was the beloved Brother of Rhonda Gerkema (nee Maron), Adrian Gerkema and Uncle of Rosalie and Hannah Gerkema. Kyle is survived by his sweet cat, Penny. Both our mother, Barb Maron (nee Geroux) and father, Wilf Maron predeceased Kyle. Kyle was a quiet, kind man who loved nature and all animals. He worked for the TTC in Toronto right out of high school and upon retirement at age 48, he moved to Northern Ontario, first North Bay then on to Elliott Lake. A private graveside funeral will be held in Richmond, ON where his mother is buried. A gathering for remembrance will be held in Orillia, ON during the summer months. A tree with a plaque for Kyle will be planted in a local park by a bench set in memory for our father. Donations can be made in his memory to any local Humane Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
