Jocelyne Doris Vincent

With great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Jocelyne Vincent at the age of 88 on September 4th, 2021, at Health Sciences North in Sudbury. During her brief illness, she was lovingly surrounded by family. Jocelyne was born in Sherbrooke, Quebec to parents Jim Davey and Bernadette Bergeron. She was pre-deceased by her son John, her parents, brother Donald and sisters Sue and Sandra. She leaves behind her husband Jean-Claude, daughter Danielle and son Martin (Lisa). Daughter-in-law Barb (late John). Grandchildren William (Nikki), Alyssa (Brian), Ryan (Chantelle), Kyle (Steph), Jessy, Karly (Kyle), Holly as well as great-grandchildren Jayde, Rylee, Brian, Holden and Koda. Jocelyne was a long-time resident of Elliot Lake, Ontario. She was happiest spending time with family and friends and enjoyed going for Sunday afternoon car rides with her husband of 65 years. She was also a fan of numerous sports and since her family was devoted to the Montreal Canadiens, Jocelyne would often cheer for the opposing teams to spice things up, yet she truly enjoyed all teams. In her final days, she still maintained the sense of humour that we will all remember her for. We will always carry her memory in our Hearts. Arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
