Jerome Junior Talbot

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Jerome (Jerry) Junior Talbot has passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was called Home to be with the Lord at St. Joseph’s General Hospital early Thursday July 15, 2021, at the age of 76. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Rachel of 52 years. Loving father of Shawn (Alison), Micheline (Denis), Renée (Jason) and Josée (predeceased). Proud grand-father of Erica (Justin), Autumn (TJ), Haley, Ami, Jakob, Madison, Leah, Nolan and Isabella. Adoring great-grandfather of Jamie-Lynn and Hunter. Predeceased by his parents Beatrice and Louis Talbot and sisters Phyllis and Janet. Survived by his siblings Garnet, Wayne and Bonnie. The family finds comfort in sharing this passage; “We live with joyful confidence, yet at the same time we take delight in the thought of leaving our bodies behind to be at Home with the Lord” 2 Corinthians 5, verse 8. A celebration of life will take place at Grace Christian Centre, in Elliot Lake, on Friday July 30, 2021 at 11am. In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to the Grace Christian Centre - Helping Hands. Arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
