Jacquie Kados, beloved wife, mother and nana, unexpectedly passed away at home on May 13, 2022 at the age of 64. Predeceased by her parents John and Maureen Staley and her sister Colleen Staley. She is survived by her husband Andy Kados, her sons Alex Nodwell, Kyle (Raven) Nodwell, Jordan Nodwell, her stepchildren Kalvin (Rachel-Anne) Kados and Megan (Joseph) Mazuera and her grandchildren Charlie, Matias, Kylie, Giuliana, October and Jack.
Born in Toronto in 1959, Jacquie has always been a lover of nature and the outdoors and devoted to her family. She was known her for kindness, humour, and her zest for life.
Jacquie recently retired to enjoy more time with her family and with her hobbies. She was a long term employee of Stevens Exhibits of London, Ontario and most recently hung up her briefcase with Elliot Lake Retirement Living.
Jacquie could be found out in the garden, enjoying a smoke or a drink with friends in the backyard (including the wildlife) or showing her sportswoman abilities with her husband Andy ice fishing, out on the boat, swimming in the lake or enjoying a camping trip.
Her favourite time was always spent with her family. She was utterly devoted to her husband Andy and loved visiting the kids and grandkids. She was the first one up to put on the coffee and start breakfast during a visit and spoiling kids and grandkids alike. She looked for the joy in every day and brought the sunshine to everyone she met.
She was taken too soon and is dearly missed. May she rest in peace.
