Harmel Mainville Obituary

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the death of our precious husband/father/ grandfather/brother/brother-in law/uncle; Harmel Mainville died peacefully at home, with his family by his side. Harmel loved spending time outdoors, with fishing being one of his greatest passions. He loved creating memories with his children, grandchildren, friends and his wife being his main fishing partner. He loved to spend time with his grandkids, hearing about their successes, and he took great pride in every one of them. Harmel worked many years for Huron Superior School Board in maintenance and after retirement enjoyed working for Carlyle Construction, leaving behind many friends. He will be greatly missed by the love of his life, wife Suzanne (Bertrand), his children Lynne (Roch), Allain (Dara), Chantal (Danny). His true pride and joy are his grandchildren Patrick (Jocelyne), Nick (Samantha), André, Jesse, Angel-Lyne, Grace, and Meghan. Missed by his brothers and sisters, Jacqueline(Leo-Paul predeceased), Patricia, Lillian(Jean-Guy predeceased), Florian (Predeceased) (Jennette), Odette(Raynald), George(June), Pierrette(Raymond predeceased), Rolande(Yvan), Roland (Jose), Rejean(Loulou), Claude (Celine), Rejeanne, Madeleine(Denis), Francine(Serge), also missed by his brothers and sisters in law and many nephews and nieces. He will also be greatly missed by his church family, the Seventh-day-Adventist church where he served faithfully for many years. Thank you to the Palliative Care Team, Erin, Chelsea, and Jen, for being our support, and guiding us through this difficult time. Without them, Dad’s wish of remaining at home would not have been possible. Forever grateful for the love, prayers, and constant support from our church family, family, and friends.
