Gaetan Fortin

Gaetan Fortin Nov 28, 1962 – Apr 15, 2024 It is with great sorrow that the family announce the passing of Gaetan Fortin at the St Joseph General Hospital in Elliot Lake on Monday Apil 15th at the age of 61. Survived by his son Joseph (Joey) Fortin and his grandson Christopher Jones. Pre-deceased by his wife Louise (Huxter) Fortin and his later partner in life Angela Pearson. Also survived by his brother Denis (Brenda) Fortin, sister Gilberte (Dan) Marceau and his sister Louise (Alan) MacNamara. His friends new him best as “Gates” His love for fishing ended when he was diagnosed with kidney failure. Still with his medical challenges he was still able to enjoy riding his side by side. You could hear and see the excitement and joy when he talked about his bike. In Gaetan's memory donations can be made to the St Joseph's Hospital Foundation of Elliot Lake or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
