Elizabeth "Betty" (Bulmer) Garceau

It is with deep sorrow, we announce the death of our beloved Mother, Betty Garceau,nee Bulmer, on January 22,2023 in her 90th year. Loved wife of John Garceau,predeceased 2018. Beloved sister of Norma, Jack, Roy, Karen, Max, Bruce and Teddy. Cherished Mom of Catherine Gray (Bruce), Susan Clarke (Garth), Gayle Grant, pre deceased 2020,(Gord) Joyce Robitaille(Dan) , Kenneth Garceau (Linda) and Terri Welch( Darcy). Dearly loved Grandma of Jamey, Jason,Peter, Darryn, Jonathan, Bradley, Holly, Christopher, Max (predeceased),Jimmy (predeceased), Stephanie,Dustin, Josh, Jeremy,Teah, Tori, Trysta. Adored Grammy of Grace, Liam ,Emma-Kate,Logan, Brodie, Maelle, Jack, Elizabeth, Myla, Emmett, Graydon ,Beau, Jack ,Vivian and Addelyn. Special Aunt to many. 
She was always a willing participant in all activities, although not as willing to lose. She loved going to camp surrounded by her grandchildren playing cards and jumping in the lake at 3 AM after a sauna. Florida life as a snowbird in Country Park for more than 20 years filled her life ,including her six-handed Euchre friends. 

Always willing to accompany her kids to events where she watched hockey/ figure skating and Gayle eating at the buffet. . Happy to go cross country skiing with TT, walking with kids, she was always active and keeping busy. Grandkids and Great -grandkids have many wonderful memories of serpent river /gazebo gatherings and swimming in the river. 

Family reunions in Serpent River hold a special place in everyone’s heart. 

Her last years saw her memory decline but her humour and wit remained until the end. 

Cremation has occurred. Family memorial at camp on a later date.
