It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Henley, who passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, at the age of 75, with his daughter by his side.
David lived with a generous heart and an unmistakable sense of humour that brightened every room he entered. He had a natural gift for making others laugh, easing difficult moments with wit, and reminding those around him not to take life too seriously. His laughter, and his ability to spark it in others, will be deeply missed.
He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family, playing video games online with his son and going for long walks and heartfelt talks with his daughter. Those conversations and shared moments meant the world to him.
David loved the outdoors and embraced every opportunity for adventure, from hiking, fishing, and boating to quietly watching the birds and looking up at the stars. Whether out on a trail or sitting beneath the night sky, he carried the same appreciation for life that he shared so freely with others.
He was a devoted father to his son, Jason Henley, and his daughter, Kimberly Henley. He was deeply loved by his friends, neighbours, and community. Over the years, he generously gave his time to many organizations, always seeking ways to help and make a positive difference.
Even in his final days, David remained determined and focused on doing good for others. His legacy of kindness, humour, dedication, and unwavering presence will continue through all who were fortunate enough to know him.
He will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and lovingly remembered.
In honour of David, share a laugh, take a walk with someone you love, and look up at the stars.
