Daniel John Maloney

Daniel John Joseph Maloney with his family by his side passed
away peacefully on April 30, 2021. He was 76 years old.
A long time resident of Elliot Lake, Dan began his teaching career
in 1966. He taught Mathematics for many years at Elliot Lake
Secondary School. Dan loved to play golf and was a long time
member of the Stone Ridge Golf Course.
Predeceased by his parents, Lucien and Inez Maloney. Youngest
brother to Sylvia (late Jiggs Sisson), Vivian (late Milan Joncas)
and Douglas Maloney (Darlene). Father to Daniel Maloney Jr.
and Donna Thrash (Richard Kurpiers). Grandfather to Michael
Alexander and Alexander William. Beloved uncle to many nieces
and nephews.
The family would like to thank Liz Armstrong for her support and
kindness.
As per Daniel’s request, no memorial service will be held
however, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian
Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
