Colin Bell Obituary

Bell, Colin With heavy hearts, we remember Colin Bell, who passed away suddenly on March 16, 2026. Colin had a gift for making people laugh—his incredible sense of humor and contagious laugh could brighten even the dullest day. He loved the outdoors, spending hours fishing and enjoying the simple beauty of nature. His two loyal dogs, Jack and Amy, were always by his side. Colin cherished his three daughters, Dana, Jennifer (Nick) and Samantha (Burt), and was a devoted grandfather to Evan, Gemma, Cruz, Keaton, Jayden, Aubree, Owen, Caleb, Roxie, Mackenzie, and Blake, who brought him endless joy. He shared a loving partnership with his common-law partner, Cheryl Wheeler, the love of his life. Colin is survived by his four sisters, Colleen (Jack), Kim (Denis), Karen (Mike) and Tess (Erik, predeceased), and he loved and was loved by his many nieces and nephews. He also shared a special time living with his nephew Dave, filled with fun times and laughter that will always be remembered. Colin enjoyed many cherished outdoor adventures with his best friend, Alvin, creating memories that will always be treasured. His warmth, playful spirit, and zest for life left a mark on everyone who knew him. He had a way of turning ordinary moments into memories filled with laughter and love. A celebration of life will be held for family and close friends. In Colin’s memory, friends and family are invited to perform an act of kindness to honour the joy and laughter he shared. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
