Clifford Massicotte

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clifford Paul Massicotte on May 13th, 2025, at the age of 90 at Espanola Nursing Home surrounded by loved ones. Clifford was a husband, father, grandfather, logger, and friend to many. Born September 20th, 1934, in Massey, Ontario, to Emma Massicotte (nee Savard) and Albert Massicotte (both predeceased), Clifford worked many years running a successful trucking and logging business. He later married his soulmate, Levina Massicotte (nee Caron; predeceased) with whom he is now reunited in heaven. Predeceased by his dearly loved siblings: Omer, Aime, Anna, Roger, Rene, Rosaline, and Maurice. Cherished father to Dolores Lees (predeceased), Debbie Bedard (Yvon), Clifford Junior Massicotte (Jane), Greg Massicotte (predeceased), Sandy Massicotte (Bill), Shelley Steinke (Paul), Karen Toulouse (Jim), Andy Toulouse (Myra), Sonny Toulouse (Shelley), and Cindy Erb (Lance). Dear grandfather to Matthew, Adam, Stacey, Jeff, Randy, Ryan, Kate, Michael, Greg, Jesse, Aaron, Kelsey, Cody, Alex, Lauren, Bryce, Destinee, Travis, Jadyn, Jake, Joseph, Jackson, and Joshua. Great-grandfather to Shaylan, Jared, Aidan, Landon, Leiya, Shaden, Meranda, Brett, Noah, Leala, Marious, Cashious, Eli, Ella, Mia, Ana, Maya, Cheyanne, Kaden, Jackson, Chase, Emmy, Harrison, Drake, Reid, Bellamy Isabella, Reese, Teagan, Ashton, and Isla. A graveside interment will take place on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, at 11 am at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cemetery in Massey, Ontario with luncheon to follow at the Massey Legion. The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the doctors and nurses and staff at Espanola Nursing Home who provided Clifford with such compassionate support and care.
