Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Elliot Lake, Ontario at St. Joseph's General Hospital on June 27, 2023 at the age of 73 years.
Claude was born on October 6, 1949 in Rouyn Noranda, Quebec to parents Donat Strasbourg (predeceased) and Irene Deschamps (Marcel)(predeceased)
Claude worked most of his life in mining before retiring from Barrick Hemlo Mine and moving to Elliot Lake in 2015.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Lise Strasbourg (Ethier) and four children Solange Strasbourg, Danielle Millard (James), Mario Strasbourg (Tricia) and Céline Strasbourg (Michel). Also survived by his siblings Daniel Strasbourg (Chantal), Joel Strasbourg (Monique) and Danielle Massicotte.
Also left to mourn are his grandkids Jamie, Nicholas, Matthew, Ashley, and Curtis as well as great grandchildren Seth and Noah.
Claude is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as his beloved 4-legged companion, Lady, who was always by his side.
At Claude's request, there will be no service.
