The tee time is set and the boys are waiting on the first hole. He lived a great 83 years full of fun, laughter, and love. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Arline, children: Tammy, Dawn (Derek), and Warren (Kara), grandchildren; Grant, Ben, Hannah, Mahaylia, Kieran, Meagan, Leiya and Landon, and his two great grands Amayah and Sedrick. Brian was a member of the Ontario Provincial Police original golden helmet riders. His many family and friends will remember him as the Big Guy, Lurch, Little Joe, Cash Cardy and by other nicknames as he wore many hats over the years. He had a big personality, a loud voice ( he was an award winning Town Crier) and an even bigger heart. Many people in need found themselves in a better place thanks to his generosity. Whether it was a couple of crisp c-notes in your hand, a job, a connection or just a little extra lift to your spirits, many have been lucky enough to call Brian their friend. He will be remembered for his time with the Masons. He was a past Master of the Corinthian Lodge. A.F. and A.M. No 481 and a Shriner. Our family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph's Manor for the care and attention he love each and every one of them. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Should you feel inclined, donations in Brian's memory, made to a children's organization of your choice, would be right up his alley. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Alternative Funeral Services.
